The Holy Quran is a divine book, the word of God, revealed to our last prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Among all the divine books, the Quran stands unique as God Himself has declared to be its guardian. This is why the Quran remains unchanged from its original revelation and will continue to do so. It serves as a universal guide, offering direction for all humanity. The Quran, revealed in Arabic, is meant for everyone, both Arabs and non-Arabs. Understanding the Quran is as essential for non-Arabs as it is for Arabs. It is crucial for all Muslims to comprehend what God conveys through the Quran and the teachings of Islam. Without grasping the true meanings, following God’s teachings and commands would be challenging. Thus, it is vital for non-Arabs to learn the Quran in their native languages.

For Arabs, understanding the full depth of the Quran’s teachings also requires the guidance of capable teachers. Some terms in the Quran, such as Sala’at, Zaka’at, and Hajj, cannot be fully understood through literal translation alone. Therefore, Arabs need to study both ‘Tafseer’ and translation to truly comprehend God’s teachings in the Quran.

With the aim of spreading God’s message globally, this course on the Quran with translation has been developed for all Muslims. It includes both translation and ‘Tafseer’, ensuring that, God willing, everyone participating will find it easier to understand the Quran and the commands within it.
